The safety of our guests and staff is paramount.

We will continue to operate with the highest levels of health & safety protocols, while introducing some new policies and procedures:

 

TABLES

All tables are 2m apart in compliance with AHS guidelines. Tables are sanitized before and after each guest. Some tables are unavailable for guest usage for compliance with social distancing guidelines. 

Tables will have bus-bins for empties to minimize contact points for staff & customers.

No shared condiments. Individual and disposable packages are available for use.

 

MENUS & PAYMENT

Our menus are available online & disposable menus will be available on request

 

GUESTS & RESERVATIONS

Please respect other groups by staying 2m (6ft) away from them during your visit

Reservations can be made anytime on Bookenda

We are accepting reservations, however, please refer to the most up-to-date guidelines from AHS for group sizes if applicable.

Hand sanitizer is available throughout the restaurant. Please use it upon entry and departure.

In the event of a lineup there are waiting areas marked on the pavement outside the 10th ave patio.

 

WASHROOMS

Washrooms will be checked and sanitized every 30 minutes

TAKEOUT & DELIVERY

We will continue to offer takeout & delivery

Takeout of beer & spirits will be offered during our opening hours

Skipthedishes (Free delivery!) and ubereats are still available, with extras delivery fees

STAFF

All staff are monitored for Covid-19 symptoms before each shift.

No staff will be permitted to work with any Covid-19 symptons

Staff are subject to extra hand-washing regimens in addition to frequent use of hand sanitizer after any guest service

All staff will be wearing PPE

POLYCARBONATE 
There are polycoarbonate dividers at the bar, on all patio sections and in between all booths and window areas in the pub.

STAGE 2 of Alberta's Open for Summer Reopening

Mandatory – Effective June 10

Provincewide restrictions

  • Indoor and outdoor dining is permitted.

  • 6 people per table maximum – different households can dine together.

  • Takeout, curbside pickup and delivery are encouraged.

Additional safety measures

  • Contact information must be collected from one person of the dining party.

  • Tables and dining parties must be 2 metres apart or separated by an impermeable barrier that will prevent droplet transmission.

  • Individuals must stay seated with their dining party unless using the washroom, paying, or entering/exiting the facility. Masks must be worn indoors when not at your table.

  • Liquor service ends at 11 pm.

  • Dining must close by midnight.

  • VLTs are permitted. No other forms of entertainment allowed (pool tables, live music, etc.).
